RSF Performance is dedicated to making hockey development accessible and affordable for families in the Brandon, Manitoba, and Westman area community. My passion for the game was reignited after a ten-year absence from playing and returning when my children were old enough to play. This inspired me to acquire Hockey Manitoba certifications, including becoming a Development 1 coach and pursuing NCCP certification. I am now the VP of AA and AAA hockey, committed to making a positive impact in the minor hockey community.
To continuously improve my coaching abilities, I attend coaching conferences, participate in online consultations, and complete various courses. With the sport’s evolution in the last decade, I am eager to teach modern techniques to players.
I previously played for the Brandon AAA Wheat Kings, where I achieved the title of Provincial and National Champions in the 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 seasons. I also played for the Neepawa Natives in the MJHL and concluded my competitive career with the Southeast Blades.
As a coach, I have been a part of Hockey Brandon for over seven years coaching my two sons. I am now fully invested in the game and excited to make a strong impact, having resolved any past emotional ties to the sport.
